Petrex to Sponsor Air Race Formula 1

Today, Petrex the Aberdeen based Subsea Engineering and Project Management Consultancy announced they are to provide sponsorship for the Air Race Formula 1 Team, Hart Attack.

Air Race Formula 1 is a heady mix of speed and pilot skill, taking place on a circuit just two kilometres end to end at speeds in excess of two hundred and fifty miles an hour. Eight aircraft race together over ten laps at heights as low as twenty five feet. This years’ high profile showcase takes place in Catalunya, Spain on the 31st of May. As well as the thousands of spectators present, Air Race Formula 1 has secured worldwide television coverage to potentially over one hundred countries and thirty five major channels creating an amazing, high profile event.

The Hart Attack team consists of the daring double act; Des Hart the exceedingly experienced and versatile pilot and Calum Brown, the well qualified engineer for the race approved Cassutt IIIM G-Bomb aircraft.

Petrex have partnered at a great stage witnessing the team and the aircraft evolve. Featuring a striking blue and white race livery and proudly displaying the Petrex branding, Hart Attack is instantly recognisable.
