Established in 2008, Petrex are a Scottish based company with a proven track record in subsea developments. Forming alliances with Industry specialists for additional expert services enables Petrex to retain its focus on high quality expertise, guaranteeing quality, independent and objective advice.

We use these experiences to ensure our clients are properly supported and advised throughout the project, from conception to completion. We are focused on ensuring the team is managed and directed towards a common goal - safe projects delivered on budget, on schedule.
Steven Dempster
Managing Director
Steven is the Managing Director of Petrex Ltd, which was established in 2008. Throughout his career he has worked for a number of market leading subsea organisations and operators having delivered many successful projects throughout his career,more recently managing the subsea element of the Marathon Alvheim Development and technical authority to several oil and gas operators.
He has a BEng from Robert Gordon's School of Mechanical & Offshore Engineering and has been active in the oil and gas industry since the late 80s.
Tony Evans
Business Director
Tony is the Business Director at Petrex Ltd, he has been involved in strategic marketing and business development for 15 years and has worked across several market sectors for companies such as a large global electronics organisation and a number of leading international software/service businesses.
He established his own company and latterly he has worked within the energy sector for a large family owned marine and subsea contracting group. He has a Business degree from the University of Paisley and has been active in the Oil & Gas industry for 9 years.
Kevin Kit Ho
Subsea Designer
Kevin is a Subsea Designer at Petrex Ltd, recently named as 'Young Professional of the year 2010' by the European Construction Institute (ECI) for his technical expertise in the development and use of 3D applications within the oil and gas industry.

He has worked on numerous subsea development projects where his technical knowledge has been invaluable to the overall project. Kevin initially studied Engineering Design before graduating with a BSc in Design for Industry at the Robert Gordon University, where he was also awarded the 'Design Graduate Award' by BP for his final years work.
